Doli Choudhury, a dedicated NSS volunteer from Gauhati University, has been chosen as the recipient of the State NSS Award in the volunteer category by the Department of Sports & Youth Welfare, Government of Assam. Involvement in Community and Social Services:
Doli Choudhury has demonstrated outstanding commitment and engagement, both within the university campus and in society. As a member of the Gauhati University Campus NSS Unit, she has actively participated in numerous initiatives, including:

1. Plantation Programmes: Doli has played a pivotal role in organizing and executing plantation drives, contributing to environmental conservation and sustainability efforts.

2. Voluntary Blood Donations: She has enthusiastically encouraged and participated in voluntary blood donation drives, raising awareness about the importance of donating blood to save lives.

3. Programmes on Plastic Pollution and Environment: Doli has actively contributed to programs addressing the critical issue of plastic pollution and promoting environmental awareness among the public.
