During this session, various topics are being presented, including collaborations, joint degree programs, increasing the number of international students, establishing international campuses, and significant insights related to G20 events. Moreover, the participants are sharing valuable recommendations that can shape the future of international education.
To kick off the session, we have the privilege of listening to two keynote addresses. First, Prof. Rangan Banerjee, the Director of IIT Delhi, provides an enlightening presentation on the internalization efforts in our educational institutions. He sheds light on the accomplishments achieved thus far, the challenges encountered along the way, and outlines a promising path forward.
Next, we have the esteemed presence of Prof. K. Umamaheshwar Rao, the Director of NIT Rourkela, who brings valuable insights on the Study in India program. Prof. Rao emphasizes the vast array of opportunities offered by the program while also addressing the challenges that need to be overcome. Additionally, he shares his vision for the future, highlighting the way forward for internationalization.
