India defeat USA, China, Japan and sets World Record

India Sets World Record by Constructing 100 km Road of Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway in Just 100 Hours

In a momentous achievement, India has made history by constructing a 100-kilometer stretch of the Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway in an unprecedented time of 100 hours. This remarkable feat showcases the dedication and innovation of India's road infrastructure industry.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed his congratulations to the exceptional teams involved in this accomplishment, including Cube Highways, L&T, and Ghaziabad Aligarh Expressway Pvt Ltd (GAEPL). He praised their outstanding achievement and emphasized the significance of India's road infrastructure sector.

The Ghaziabad-Aligarh section of NH-34, spanning 118 kilometers, serves as a vital transportation link between densely populated regions. It connects Ghaziabad and Aligarh, passing through several towns and cities in Uttar Pradesh such as Dadri, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr, and Khurja. This expressway facilitates the movement of goods, supports regional economic development, and connects industrial areas, agricultural regions, and educational institutions.

Highlighting the commitment to sustainability and cost-effectiveness, the project incorporates the use of Cold Central Plant Recycling (CCPR) technology. This innovative green technology allows for the reuse of approximately 90% of the milled material, amounting to nearly 20 lakh square meters of road surface. The adoption of CCPR has significantly reduced the consumption of virgin materials to just 10%, resulting in lower fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, thus contributing to a reduced carbon footprint.

Nitin Gadkari underscored the government's dedication, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, to ensure exceptional mobility for commuters while promoting commerce and driving economic activities in the region. The goal is to develop world-class highways at an accelerated pace without compromising on quality.

This extraordinary achievement not only sets a new world record but also demonstrates India's commitment to advancing its road infrastructure and contributing to sustainable development.
