The joint operation took place in the general area of Xg Pt-III Zokhawthar, as well as along the PVCP Zokhawthar-Melbuk Rd, both located in Champhai District, Mizoram.

In the first operation, a total of 20 cases of Foreign Origin Cigarettes, 81 cases of Beer, 15 cases of liquor, and nine cases containing approximately 114 grams of Heroin No 4 were confiscated. The estimated value of the seized contraband is pegged at a staggering Rs 1.09 Crore.
