Congress Gears Up for 2024 Lok Sabha Polls: Strategy Meeting in Assam Focuses on Exposing BJP's Misgovernance.

Assam Strategy Meeting: Congress Aims to Reveal BJP's Shortcomings Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

GUWAHATI: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge led a key strategy meeting in Assam to discuss plans for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Kharge highlighted the need for party leaders and workers to engage with the public and highlight what he called the BJP's "misgovernance" in the state.

The meeting included notable figures such as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Jitendra Singh, AICC in-charge of Assam, Bhupen Borah, Chief of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, and Gaurav Gogoi, Assam’s Member of Parliament. The discussions unfolded at the AICC headquarters.

In preparation for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party is actively gearing up in Assam. Kharge emphasized the importance of reaching out to the people to expose the BJP's perceived inadequacies. He tweeted, "Congress party built Assam, brick by brick, and ensured peace, progress, and welfare of the state." The strategy meeting aimed to address critical issues faced by the state.

This initiative is part of the Congress party's broader strategy to refine its approach and strengthen its presence in the political landscape as the 2024 Lok Sabha elections approach.
