Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Advocates Optimism for Progress and Development.
ASSAM, 18 December 2023: In a recent event at Bongshar in Kamrup, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma emphasized the remarkable growth in medical education, stating that MBBS seats in Assam have increased from 200 to 1200. Speaking at the inauguration of Bongshar mini stadium and a felicitation program for meritorious students, Sarma highlighted the critical role of optimism in advancing the nation.

Sarma attributed the nation's progress to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's optimistic approach, stating, "Today, the country is moving towards progress because our Prime Minister is optimistic." He illustrated the transformative power of positivity by referencing advancements in Assam's medical field.

"Pessimism is our biggest enemy; negativity is our worst enemy," declared Sarma, urging the audience to recognize the world's potential for progress. Drawing parallels with influential figures like Einstein, Tendulkar, and Modi, he emphasized that despair hinders greatness.
