Guwahati, Assam- 11 January, 24: In a recent statement, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma criticized Hiren Gohain, dismissing the possibility of him leading an anti-CAA movement in the state. Sarma accused Gohain of consistently positioning himself in safe scenarios and questioned whether he had ever experienced police brutality.

Sarma's strong words also touched on Gohain's lifestyle, claiming that he comfortably consumes bread and butter for breakfast while allegedly inciting others to protest.
