Manipur Police Arrest Six KCP(PWG) Members in Imphal East; Rescues Kidnapped Victims and Seizes Weapons


Imphal, May 12, 2024 - The Manipur Police made a big move by arresting six members of the KCP(PWG) group in Kshetrigao Yumkhaibam Leirak, Imphal East district, on May 10. These guys were allegedly involved in kidnapping two people from the area.

The arrested folks are Chingakham Sanajaoba Singh (23 yrs), Soibam Sital Singh (24 yrs), Maibam Naresh Singh (24 yrs), Ningthoujam Ajit Singh (26 yrs), Chingsubam Thounagamba Meitei (30 yrs), and Wahengbam Premjit Singh (40 yrs).

In a great job, the Manipur Police also managed to rescue the two kidnapped individuals and bring them back safely. They also seized some things these guys had - a Maruti Suzuki Van, a two-wheeler, and five mobile phones.

A senior police officer said, "This operation shows our commitment to keeping the peace. We'll keep going after criminals to keep everyone safe."

The KCP(PWG) group is known for doing bad stuff, and the police are always trying to stop them. With this arrest, the police have dealt a big blow to the group, making it harder for them to do their bad deeds.

The police asked everyone to stay alert and report anything suspicious. They thanked the public for their help in fighting crime.
