The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, announced on X that the state government would recognize their commitment and treat them as participants of the Indian Wushu team.

Despite the setback of being unable to compete in the Asian Games in China, the Arunachal Pradesh government is keen on celebrating the remarkable achievements of these athletes. Chief Minister Pema Khandu revealed that each of the three Wushu players would receive a cash incentive of Rs 20 lakhs, in accordance with the state's sports policy designed to reward athletes participating in the Asian Games. Additionally, Coach Maibam Premchandra Singh, who played a pivotal role in shaping the skills and abilities of these three young athletes, will receive 10% of the incentives awarded to the players.
