Guwahati Assam- 28 January, 24: In a moment of pride for the state, Doli Choudhury, a dedicated NSS volunteer from Gauhati University, was bestowed with the State NSS Award for the year 2021-22 during the 75th Republic Day celebrations. The prestigious award was conferred by the Honourable Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, in the presence of Honourable Governor Gulab Chand Kataria.

Doli Choudhury, hailing from Bamunigaon (Boko), emerged as a standout volunteer, recognized for her unwavering commitment to community and social service activities. The State NSS Award, presented by the Department of Sports & Youth Welfare, Government of Assam, is a testament to her impactful contributions to various initiatives aimed at societal betterment.
