23 March 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to express his gratitude following his visit to Bhutan, highlighting the warm reception and deepening ties between India and the Kingdom of Bhutan.
In a post on X (Twitter), PM Modi shared his appreciation for the special gesture extended by His Majesty the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, who personally attended his departure at the airport in Bhutan's capital, Thimphu.
Reflecting on the significance of his visit, PM Modi emphasized the importance of the close friendship between India and Bhutan. During his time in Bhutan, PM Modi had the privilege of meeting with His Majesty the King, Prime Minister Dr. Lotay Tshering, and other esteemed leaders, where fruitful discussions took place to further strengthen bilateral relations.
