Imphal, October 5: A team of legislators from Manipur, led by former Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh, has left for New Delhi to hold discussions with central leaders regarding the formation of a popular government in the state.

The delegation includes former ministers Sapam Ranjan Singh, Heikham Dingo Singh, and MLA Tongbram Robindro Singh. Before departing from Imphal Airport, Biren Singh told reporters that their primary objective is to urge the central leadership to expedite the process of establishing a representative government in Manipur.
