Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan: Block-Level Orientation & Workshop Held in Atoizu

The Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan Block-Level Orientation & Workshop was held at Atoizu, engaging grassroots stakeholders for effective local governance.

Atoizu, September 23, 2025:
The Block-Level Orientation and Workshop for the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan was successfully held today at Jubilee Hall, Atoizu. The programme aimed at strengthening grassroots governance and enhancing convergence across departments for effective implementation of the Abhiyan.

The session was chaired by Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak P, NCS, Extra Assistant Commissioner of Atoizu and Block Nodal Officer, who delivered the keynote address. He highlighted the vision, objectives, and operational modalities of the initiative, underscoring its importance in participatory development.

The technical sessions were conducted by the designated Master Trainers for the block — Dr. Gihuka Chishi (Medical Officer, Atoizu), Shri Innoto K. Achumi (Senior Supervisor, Social Welfare Department, Atoizu), and Shri Vitoka (Rural Development Department, Akuhaito). Their presentations and training modules focused on departmental convergence, functional responsibilities, and community-level engagement strategies.

The workshop witnessed active participation from diverse stakeholders of Atoizu Sub-division, including representatives of the Atoizu Town Council, Village Councils, Gaon Buras, VDB Secretaries, Anganwadi Workers, ASHAs, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).

Key discussions revolved around strengthening participatory planning, integrating grassroots institutions with state and central frameworks, and ensuring effective delivery of services under the Abhiyan.

The orientation concluded with a call for collective responsibility in aligning local governance mechanisms with the transformative goals of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
